The Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to man, written by men under divine inspiration. It is entirely true and trustworthy, with God as its author, salvation as its goal, and truth as its content. Scripture is the standard for all human conduct and religious belief, the center of Christian unity, and a testimony to Christ, the focus of divine revelation.
There is one living and true God—Creator, Redeemer, and Ruler—infinitely holy and perfect. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each fully and equally God.
God the Father rules with providential care, sustaining all creation according to His grace. He is Father to those who trust in Christ and fatherly in His love for all humanity.
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man. He lived sinlessly, died to redeem sinners, rose from the dead, and now reigns at the Father’s right hand. He will return in power and glory, and He lives within all believers.
The Holy Spirit is fully divine. He inspired Scripture, convicts of sin, calls to salvation, and empowers believers. He gives spiritual gifts, cultivates Christlike character, and secures believers for eternal redemption.
Man is made in God’s image as male and female. Though created innocent, man sinned and fell, bringing sin into the world. Only God’s grace can restore fellowship with Him. Every person bears dignity and is worthy of love because Christ died for all.
Salvation is redemption through Christ and includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. It is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Regeneration is the new birth, a work of the Spirit that brings repentance and faith.
Justification is God’s act of declaring believers righteous.
Sanctification begins at regeneration and progresses throughout life.
Glorification is the final state of the redeemed.
Election is God’s gracious choice to save sinners. It is consistent with human free will and leads to regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. True believers will persevere, kept by God’s power to salvation.
A New Testament church is a local body of baptized believers, governed by Scripture and committed to the gospel. It observes Christ’s ordinances and seeks to extend the gospel. Pastors/elders and deacons are its two scriptural offices. The universal church includes all believers of all ages.
Baptism by immersion symbolizes the believer’s union with Christ in death, burial, and resurrection. It is a prerequisite for church membership and participation in the Lord’s Supper. The Lord’s Supper memorializes Christ’s death and anticipates His return.
Sunday, the Lord’s Day, commemorates Christ’s resurrection and should be devoted to worship and spiritual devotion, both public and private.
God’s Kingdom is His reign over all creation and especially over those who trust Christ. Believers are called to live under His rule and pray for His will to be done on earth. The Kingdom will be fully realized at Christ’s return.
In His time, God will bring the world to its end. Christ will return, the dead will be raised, and all will be judged. The unrighteous will go to Hell; the righteous will live eternally in Heaven with the Lord.
It is every believer’s duty and privilege to share the gospel. Evangelism flows from the new birth and is commanded by Christ. We are to share Christ through our words, lives, and intentional mission efforts.
Christianity values truth and wisdom. Christian education is essential for spiritual growth and should be supported by the church. Teachers must uphold biblical truth and the supremacy of Christ in their instruction.
All we have belongs to God. Christians are stewards of their time, talents, and treasures and should give cheerfully and generously to support God’s work.
Believers should unite in cooperation to advance the Kingdom of God. Associations and conventions are voluntary and aim to enhance gospel work. Cooperation with other Christians is commendable when it honors Christ and His Word.
Christians should seek to reflect Christ’s lordship in all areas of life and oppose injustice, immorality, and oppression. We must uphold the sanctity of life, care for the vulnerable, and engage society with truth and love.
Christians are called to pursue peace grounded in righteousness. The gospel is the ultimate solution to conflict, and believers should pray for peace and work toward it.
God alone is Lord of the conscience. Church and state should be separate, with the state ensuring religious freedom for all. The gospel is advanced through spiritual, not political, means.
God created the family as the foundation of society. Marriage is the covenant union of one man and one woman for life. Husbands and wives are equal in worth, with distinct roles. Parents are to raise children in the Lord, and children are to honor their parents.
